Irina Ganevicha

Irina is working in a visual communication company — Prezi, and she is the lead UX researcher of Infogram product — web-based solution for data visualization. Working together in Riga (Latvia), Budapest (Hungary), and San Francisco, California, Infogram now supports over 4M users. She is also active member of Riga TechGirls community, a multidisciplinary designer in the past since 2009, worked on web solution design for the companies like Tet, Garnier, Just 5, Rimi and many others.

Irina shared her learnings during her researcher career in Infogram. As most of the UX designers and researchers in Riga, she went from graphic design to web and then product design, and learned by herself about UX research and how to apply it to digital products. Establishing UX research as a process in a product is not an easy thing, and requires engagement from the team, trust in design proposals, and additional recourses. In Irina's talk, you will learn what are the crucial elements while doing UX research, what mistakes you should avoid, and how to be successful in your UX insights communication.
