Mobile Developers Latvia #16

Mobile Developers Latvia meetup is an event that we host every 2nd month. We are committed to expanding and cultivating the local community of mobile developers, as well as exchanging knowledge with the developers and invited speakers. This month we were happy to have Cagatay Ulusoy share his experience in his talk Architecture for Flutter Apps, and to get valuable insights from the talk Building Frameworks or Nightmare of iOS Developer by Maksim Kalik. Both talks were well perceived by the community and we’re looking forward to the next events!

Flutter Global Summit ‘23

Flutter Global Summit is a well-known online conference for Flutter developers. In addition to learning from the experts, our teammate Daria Orlova gave a deep dive talk on how BuildContext works in Flutter and how to avoid any errors related to it. New customer reviews on Clutch

We are always thrilled when our customers are satisfied with our work. This month, we received two 5.0 reviews on Clutch from happy customers. One project involved an innovative design challenge for a B2C tenant mobile app for a home ownership solutions company, while the other was a complete rewrite and redesign of an app for an event planning company. Apple & Google Pay integration for Bilderlings app

Speaking of happy customers, our dear partner Bilderlings sent us a delicious and beautiful cake to celebrate the successful launch of new functionality. This feature was the result of several months of work by our team and many other responsible partners - integrating Apple & Google Pay into the Bilderlings mobile banking app. ?

SwiftUI in existing MVVM+C/UIKit project

We love Flutter, but we also love native! Staying on top of trends and supporting existing applications should not be a problem. Our iOS developer, Sandis, confirmed this by showing how to integrate SwiftUI into existing MVVM+C/UIKit projects. Sandis gave an internal talk to the team to help them start integrating SwiftUI into their projects. He also shared his experience in an article on our Chili blog. Check it out here!

Flutter Heroes 2023

At the end of the month, our Flutter team attended the Flutter Heroes 2023 conference in Turin. The trip was a great success, as we not only had a lot of fun but also gained valuable insights and takeaways to share with the rest of the team.
