Online booking and ticketing platform
Development of whole project, from an idea to final implementation
Our team at Chili Labs was involved in the entire development process of the Bookla platform, from research to implementation. We conducted extensive research, designed the platform, developed the backend, built two iOS and two Android apps, and created marketing materials. Our design skills were put to use in creating a sleek and user-friendly platform, while our backend development ensured that Bookla functioned smoothly and efficiently. Our team at Chili Labs was dedicated to creating a platform that was not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly.

Idea
To ensure the success of a project, it is crucial to start with a comprehensive understanding of the problem at hand. That’s why, before moving into the implementation phase, our team at Chili Labs takes a broad view by incorporating best practices from Design Thinking and Design Doing methodologies. By doing so, we can identify potential problems and opportunities, and develop solutions that will create value for both the end user and the business itself.

Marketplace mobile apps
Chili Labs developed marketplace mobile apps for iOS and Android, allowing users to discover nearby services, book them, and pay online. The app has been downloaded over 150,000 times and has received multiple awards.
Business app for service providers
One of the competitive advantages of Bookla is its business app, which allows companies to manage all bookings from a smartphone. At Chili Labs, we were constantly interviewing businesses to provide the most needed features and a user-friendly interface.
Widget
One of the most requested features from business clients was a web widget that can be integrated into any website to accept online bookings. With just a few lines of code and no web development knowledge, any business can integrate the widget into their website. The main challenge during development was to ensure that the widget scales and works well on both desktop and mobile devices.
Kiosk
Designers from Chili Labs adapted the Bookla interface to a self-service kiosk that allows clients to purchase and print tickets onsite. All purchase analytics are integrated into Bookla’s platform, and business owners can view and analyze the data.
